Role: Develops and manages email and SMS content creation for the campaign. This role will also oversee online engagement and additional organizing platforms. This is primarily a writing position, candidates will be solid writers, email producers and have experience working with CRMs, ActBlue, NGP, and HTML. Ideal candidates are highly creative and can generate new ideas across email and SMS.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Managing a program, which includes drafting texts, leading point on text acquisition, and devising best strategies for each send
  • Developing outreach concepts and implementing them across email and text
  • Drafting rapid response email and text content
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on digital performance
  • Coordinating with the campaign’s digital agency to integrate programs and deliver results
  • Pitching email concepts and assisting with email content creation

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience working on a digital program for a political
campaign, non-profit, or other organization
  • Experience managing a text program using a broadcast messaging system like Switchboard
  • Strong writing skills accompanied by experience drafting text and email message content in a wide range of voices
  • Experience with CRMs, HTML, ActBlue, and NGP preferred
